Libby Proctor, L.Ac., MSTOM, Dipl.OM is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Nationally Board Certified Herbalist. She graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago, IL as a Master of Traditional Oriental Medicine. In Chicago, she ran a private practice and worked as the acupuncturist at a leading rheumatology medical practice. She relocated to Virginia Beach, VA in 2014, eager to bring her knowledge and experience to as many people as possible and spread the word about the effectiveness of Chinese medicine.
“The most satisfaction I get from being an Acupuncturist is that I can help people when they are desperate, or at their breaking point, thinking they will never feel healthy again. I like to show people that tolerating this level of pain or discomfort is unnecessary, and that there IS an answer and an end to their frustrations, as long as they are committed to the process.”
Integrating acupuncture, herbal medicine, lifestyle modifications, dietary and nutritional recommendations, energy work, and other modalities, Libby creates personalized, holistic treatments addressing the individual patient's needs.
Outside of practice, Libby enjoys spending time outdoors with her rambunctious husky/german shephard dog named Jenny, cooking and eating delicious food, and spending quality time with friends and family.
